Ines Atelier – Bird in Space
„There hasn't been any art yet. Art is just beginning“
Fashion events are always a big challenge, especially when you have to adapt your creative solution to match the designer’s expression. This particular setting, however, was designed for a famous Serbian fashion designer Ines Jankovic, regarded as one of the most creative and trendsetting ateliers.
Before we went down into the mine shaft, we had some time to gather intel on Constantin Brancusi’s work, since his sculpture was a direct inspiration for the collection, which this event was all about. We had to tailor all the crude and unispiring elements to match the elegant, and silky finesses of the collection.
We were super lucky to have found an ideal location for the show, the plateau of the Museum of History of Yugoslavia. An extraordinary location for an extraordinary show, which encoureged us to think even more out of the box and say – „Let’s convert the bloody fountain into the main stage!“.
